Meet The Metallurgical Systems Team

About Metallurgical Systems

Metallurgical Systems is a 100% Australian owned, world-leading technology company. We were founded in 2010 and we specialise in implementing solutions for metallurgical accounting, production reporting, process optimisation and sustainability reporting. Our goal is to provide automated solutions to our customers, removing data silos to improve transparency, efficiency, and compliance in the mining and minerals sector.

After consulting for the resources sector for over a decade, we observed that most plants lacked data-led insight and relied on manual accounting. This was affecting their sustainability outcomes, compliance, operational efficiency, profitability and even staff retention/attraction. To resolve this, our team of specialist metallurgists, chemical engineers and technology developers dedicated over 400,000 hours to creating the most advanced suite of Metallurgical Intelligence® software in the market.

By providing mining and minerals professionals with accurate, validated and contextualised, data about their plant, our technology helps organisations make smarter decisions, improve profitability, uncover anomalies, identify efficiencies, meet compliance objectives, and eliminate risk. We do this by creating ‘digital twin’ solutions which extract data from over 20,000 measure points, and which use machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide plant operators with the insights they need via a simple and easy to use dashboard.

We are headquartered in Sydney, Australia, and deploy our award-winning technology to minerals processing plants around the world. Our software is currently used in nine countries, four continents and in three different languages (English, Spanish and Russian). Our expert team includes metallurgists, engineers and technical experts, and our core team has been together for over a decade.

As well as vast financial returns, we deliver all important clarity to the stakeholders and owners of minerals processing plants, helping them make much faster and better decisions, and meet all-important compliance objectives.
